As global AI server power architectures enter a new era exceeding 10 kW per system, power supply designs are facing increasingly stringent requirements for high current capability, safety, and reliability. Conquer Electronics, a leading Taiwanese circuit protection manufacturer, once again demonstrates its strong R&D capabilities with the 48MH high-current SMD fuse series, specifically designed for AI data centers. With its breakthrough technical performance, the 48MH Series has been honored with the 2026 Taiwan Excellence Award, positioning it as a critical component supporting next-generation AI power architectures.
The core value of the 48MH Series lies in its ability to simultaneously突破 the technical limits of compact size and high current capacity, overcoming the current bottleneck of SMD fuses in the market. The series supports rated currents from 50A to 225A and operates reliably at 125V, a significant achievement for surface-mount circuit protection devices. The primary R&D challenge was enabling high-current conduction within an extremely compact footprint while maintaining material stability under high-temperature conditions. This achievement highlights Taiwan’s deep R&D expertise in high-end electronic component manufacturing.
To overcome these challenges, the development team introduced three major innovations. First, a patented alloy wire structure utilizing novel materials and optimized wire geometry significantly enhances current-carrying capacity and fusing accuracy; this technology has been granted a Taiwanese utility patent. Second, the 48MH Series adopts an integrated terminal design, replacing traditional lead-containing soldering methods to improve reliability while reducing the use of environmentally harmful substances. Third, by leveraging advanced development workflows and thermal simulation technologies, potential high-temperature risks can be identified prior to mass production, ensuring stable and safe operation under extreme conditions.
In addition to its high-current performance, the 48MH Series features a high-temperature ceramic body that maintains structural stability under prolonged thermal stress from AI workloads, preventing performance degradation caused by material fatigue. Its SMD design supports automated SMT processes, enabling power modules to advance toward higher power density and miniaturization. Typical applications include DC power supply units (DC PSU), server motherboards, and battery backup units (BBU).

The 48MH Series delivers three key benefits to data centers: enhanced power supply safety, improved module reliability, and support for compact, standardized mass production. Its primary customers include ODMs, OEMs, and major CSP operators. The high-reliability design helps reduce failure risks, lower maintenance costs, and improve overall data center efficiency. Looking ahead, the 48MH Series will expand into electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and high-power battery modules, supporting global demand for next-generation energy and high-efficiency power solutions while strengthening international confidence in Taiwan’s power supply chain.
The Taiwan Excellence Award not only recognizes the 48MH Series’ innovation in high-current circuit protection but also reinforces global trust in Taiwan’s AI supply chain. With nearly 50 years of R&D experience, extensive patent portfolios, and stringent quality control, Conquer Electronics continues to hold a leading position in the domestic market and remains a trusted partner for global brands.
Looking forward, Conquer will continue to drive innovation with a focus on AI technologies and ESG sustainability, expanding the application of high-reliability circuit protection components across global data centers, renewable energy, and high-efficiency power markets.
